Bigg Boss 18: Salman Khan’s ex-girlfriend Somy Ali labels the show ‘Scripted’; Refutes rumors of joining next season

Bigg Boss is one of the most popular Indian TV reality shows which has completed successful 17 seasons. Following Bigg Boss 17 and Bigg Boss OTT 3 people are eagerly waiting for Bigg Boss 18. Well, the next much-awaited season is right around the corner and well-known celebrities have been approached. Reports were rife that Salman Khan’s ex-girlfriend Somy Ali was also asked by the producers to participate in the game reality show. However, the actress has now broke silence about her name being linked with Bigg Boss 18 calling it a planned plot to attract attention.

Somy Ali has recently denied the reports of her joining Bigg Boss 18 as a contestant. She refuted the news that the makers of the show approached her and claimed the filming time is too long for her to quit her non-profit organisation. She even labelled the show scripted and stated that she never watched a single episode of Bigg Boss.

Somy said, “I can’t leave my non-profit organisation to be a part of a show whose filming duration is far too long. I say this with the utmost respect for the show that I have not watched a single episode of it and have no idea what it entails. I have heard it’s scripted and I was going to be a contestant, something I have never conversed about with anyone from the show who works behind the scenes.”

She further added, “I have never spoken to anyone from the show. Even if I am called as a contestant, I will not go. To be honest, all these things are a strategy to increase ratings, which networks often do. I have no intention of participating in any scripted reality show.”

This big entertainment news has left Bigg Boss fans in splits. It is now awaited what makers have to say on Sommy Ali’s remarks. Nevertheless, Bigg Boss is a highly watched show and it is awaited when the show will start airing.
