Alia Bhatt’s Raazi has become one of her best films so far. It is all set to emerge the highest grosser of Alia, surpassing lifetime business of 2 States and Badrinath Ki Dulhania. Where 2 States did a lifetime business of Rs 102.13 crore, Badrinath Ki Dulhania fetched Rs 116.68 crore (India business).
However, the biggest point is that Raazi is a film centered on Alia’s character and is a heroine-centric film whereas the other two films also had A-lister heroes like Arjun Kapoor and Varun Dhawan. Directed by Meghna Gulzar Raazi has till now fetched Rs 102.50 crore and is still running in the theatres which means that it has lots of other milestones to surpass.

Raazi is the second heroine-centric film to cross Rs 100 crore mark, after Kangana Ranaut’s Tanu Weds Manu Returns, but Tanu Weds Manu Returns was a franchise and had a huge advantage riding on the success of its prequel but Raazi is the first one to achieve this milestone on its own. Raazi stars Vicky Kaushal, Soni Razdana, Jaideep Ahlawat and Rajit Kapoor besides Alia in pivotal roles.

Raazi is a political thriller based on Harider Sikka’s novel Calling Sehmat. It tells the story of an Indian girl married to a Pakistani army guy so that she can turn spy and furnish intelligence information during the Indo-Pakistan war of 1971. It is also the first female-directed film to cross the Rs 100 crore mark for a non-festive release.
Alia plays a spy in this film and had to learn Morse code and had to learn fighting for her role. This is Alia’s third film in the Rs 100 crore club after 2 States and Badrinath Ki Dulhania. The film is produced by Junglee Pictures and Karan Johar's Dharma Productions. The success of this film has made Alia the indisputable queen of Bollywood.
