Varun Dhawan and Anushka Sharma starrer Sui Dhaaga-Made in India and Vishal Bharadwaj’s Pataakha are trying their level best to rake in moolah at the box office. The two films have shown tremendous growth on the weekend but Sui Dhaaga is clearly the winner in the race.

Sui Dhaaga witnessed excellent growth on Day 2 and Day 3.Its collections got almost double over the weekend. It has fetched Rs 36.60 crore. Today also the film saw steady growth and with tomorrow being Gandhi Jayanti and a holiday the film will definitely keep the cash registers ringing. However, the big test will come on Wednesday onwards for the film.

On the other hand, Sanya Malhotra and Radhika Madan starrer Pataakha also witnessed an escalation but the third day total was still low. It has raked in a total of Rs 4.05 crore. The film also stars Sunil Grover, Vijay Raaz, Namit Das, Abhishek Duhan and Saanand Verma.

Shahid Kapoor’s, Shraddha Kapoor’s and Yami Gautam’s Batti Gul Meter Chalu has failed to light up silver screens and has not been able to send any jolt to the audience. Although, it still managed to garner Rs 37.26 crore at the box office.
