Zero Box office collection: Shah Rukh Khan starrer crosses Rs 50 crore mark in its first week

Zero starring Shah Rukh Khan, Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif which released on last Friday is facing a tough time at the box office. The film was eagerly awaited as the producers and the actors of the film left no stone unturned for the promotions. The trailer and the songs of the film generated good buzz about the film but the film after its release failed to live up to the expectations. Zero has had a slow start at the box office on its first two days. On its first day, i.e Friday, December 21, Zero made a collection of Rs 20.14 crores, on its second day it witnessed a drop and earned approximately Rs 17 crores.

On Sunday, the SRK starrer recovered a little lost ground and earned Rs 18.25 crores thereby taking its total collection to around Rs 54.60 crore. The film has received a lot of negative reviews on social media and has been panned by the audience which clearly reflects in its numbers. However, tomorrow being Christmas holiday the film should boost its business. Zero directed by Aanand L Rai.

On the other hand, Zero is facing a tough time at the box office due to Yash’s film KGF. KGF is looking unstoppable and is appealing to the audience as well. Its Hindi version fetched Rs 5.10 crore on Day 2.
