Ranveer Singh and Sara Ali Khan starrer Simmba is literally roaring at the box office. The film was speculated to be a big grosser at the box office but it has broken all expectations and the figures have proved Ranveer’s status as a bankable star and a force to be reckoned with. After having a thrilling start on Day 1, Simmba’s domestic collections after five days are now at Rs 124.54 crore. Simmba is Ranveer’s fourth film to cross Rs 100 crore mark.

Not just the domestic market, the film has fared well at the international market as well. The overseas total is close to Rs 40 crore and is still going strong. After his last release Golmaal Again in 2017, Rohit Shetty has managed to hit the bull’s eye once again with Simmba. With the release of Simmba he has become one of the most successful directors. Simmba is a remake of the Telugu super hit Temper.

Sara who does not have a very meaty role in the film has also received accolades for her spunky performance. The film also stars Ashutosh Rana and Sonu Sood. Ajay Devgn as Singham and Akshay Kumar have cameo appearances in the film as well.
