Sonam Kapoor and Anil Kapoor starrer Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga released today to generally favourable reviews from the film critics and the audience as well. Although the film had created quite a buzz amongst the audience it did not generate too much in the morning shows. The film has taken a low opening of 5-7.5% which is pretty much on the expected lines considering its niche subject. However, it will have to buckle up and translate into moolah in the evening shows to post a healthy number at the box office.
The film’s subject line is such that it will appeal to a select section of the metro audience. The film’s low turnout can also be attributed to the fact that it had low marketing and promotions. Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga also stars Rajkummar Rao, Juhi Chawla, Regina Cassandra and Abhishek Duhan.

The film has amassed a total of Rs 61.15 crore at the box office. The film has been surrounded by controversies but that has not deterred the audience from giving thumbs up to the historical.
