Amitabh Bachchan’s Badla and Kartik Aaryan’s Luka Chhupi are faring exceptionally well at the box office. While Badla released last Friday and earned Rs 30.80 crore in India, Luka Chhupi, which released on March 1, has already managed to collect Rs 71.48 crore.
Trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted that Badla, directed by Sujoy Ghosh, is “displaying strong legs at the box office.” Gross box office collections of Badla, which co-stars Taapsee Pannu, amount to Rs 36.34 crore.

Luka Chhupi, meanwhile, has been earning well from the first day of its release. It is “trending well” on weekdays as well. The film stars Kriti Sanon opposite Kartik and is based on live-in relationships.

Brie Larson’s Captain Marvel, on the other hand, has slowed down slightly in India. On Tuesday, it earned Rs 4.25 crore, as per a report in Box Office India. The report also states that Captain Marvel has collected Rs 49.6 crore so far. Directed by Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck, Captain Marvel also stars Samuel L. Jackson, Ben Mendelsohn and Djimon Hounsou apart from Brie Larson.
In the midst of Badla, Luka Chhupi and Captain Marvel, Gully Boy and Total Dhamaal are still faring well at the box office. Gully Boy, starring Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt, has earned Rs 137.61 crore so far while Ajay Devgn’s, Anil Kapoor’s and Madhuri Dixit’s Total Dhamaal is at Rs 143.56 crore.
