It has been an exciting week at the box office as films including Kesari, Badla and Junglee are faring well. Salman Khan-produced Notebook, starring newcomers Zaheer Iqbal and Pranutan Bahl, also released on Friday to positive reviews.
Kesari, starring Akshay Kumar and Parineeti Chopra, released on March 21 and has already collected Rs 116.76 crore. In its second week, Kesari earned Rs 4.45 crore on Friday and Rs 6.45 crore on Saturday. Read trade analyst Taran Adarsh’s tweet:

Meanwhile, Sujoy Ghosh’s Badla, starring Amitabh Bachchan and Taapsee Pannu, has already been declared a superhit with its collections amounting to Rs 81.79 crore. The film has crossed the lifetime business of Amitabh Bachchan’s 2015 movie Piku.

Vidyut Jammwal’s Junglee witnessed growth in its collections on the second day and has collected Rs 7.70 crore so far.

Notebook, meanwhile, has been picking up pace as far as its collections are concerned. The film has earned Rs 1.4 crore so far as per a report in Box Office India. Notebook released on March 29 to positive reviews.
