Ajay Devgn, Tabu and Rakul Preet Singh starrer De De Pyaar De hit the silver screens on May 16 and raked in Rs 10.41 crore at the box-office on its opening day. The film did decent business in its first week and on Tuesday, it remained steady and hardly showed a drop as it collected Rs 6.1 crore at the box-office. The total domestic collection of De De Pyaar De now stand at Rs 50.83 crore.
As per a report in a trade website, the film should be able to add another 10 crore nett over the next two days for a first week total of around Rs 60 crore, although there is sometimes a drop on Wednesday but at these levels it should not come. "The likes of Rajasthan, CI and Gujarat are holding over the weekdays though being a multiplex film they will end up doing AVERAGE business which is more than good enough for this film," the report stated.
Meanwhile, Tiger Shroff, Ananya Panday and Tara Sutaria starrer Student of the Year 2 opened with a decent box office collection in its first weekend, however, it did not manage to remain steady in its second week. On its second Monday, the film collected Rs 1.15 crore nett at the box office, taking the Student of the Year 2's total box office collection to Rs 61.18 crore. The box office numbers of the film on its second Tuesday are still to be known.
