Dream Girl, starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Nushrat Bharucha, raked in Rs 16.42 crore and Rs 18.10 crore on Saturday and Sunday respectively. On its first Monday, the film collected a decent Rs 7.43 crore, taking the total box office collections in four days to Rs 52 crore. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh revealed the numbers saying, "Dream Girl consolidates and cements its status... Is a bonafide success, with Day 4 [working day] showing negligible decline."
The film, which collected a total of Rs 44.57 crore in first three days of its release, has already become the highest opening day grosser of Ayushmann's career.

Nitesh Tiwari's Chhichhore, starring Sushant Singh Rajput and Shraddha Kapoor, earned Rs 4.02 crore on Monday taking the total collection to Rs 98.08 crore. The film is inching closer to Rs 100 crore mark despite a tough competition from Ayushmann Khurrana's Dream Girl. "Maintains a strong grip on [second] Mon... This one’s not going to slow down soon," tweeted Taran.

Sujeeth's Saaho, starring Prabhas, Shraddha Kapoor and Neil Nitin Mukesh in the lead roles, released worldwide on August 30. The Hindi version of Saaho has managed to race past Rs 150 crore at the box office, taking the total collections to Rs 153 crores. Trade analyst Ramesh Bala tweeted the numbers, and wrote, "#Saaho Hindi crosses 150 Cr mark at the All-India Box office...All-India Nett after the 3rd weekend - 153 Crs.. (sic)"
