Actor Anupam Kher features in the cast of this week's release, Hotel Mumbai, which is based on the deadly 26/11 terror attack of 2008 in Mumbai. Anupam essays the role of Hemant Oberoi, the celebrated chef who saved many lives on the fateful night in the The Taj Mahal Palace hotel during the attacks. Directed by Anthony Maras, Hotel Mumbai also features Dev Patel in pivotal role.
On its first day, the film had a slow start at the box office and collected a total amount of Rs 1.08 crore. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted the numbers, "#HotelMumbai - limited release - has a low Day 1... Needs to grow over the weekend... Fri 1.08 cr. #India biz. All versions."

On the other hand, Vidyut Jammwal is back with Commando 3. After the protagonist's fight for love in the prequel and his quest to expose the black money racket in India in the sequel, the third film, directed by Aditya Datt, is about bringing the nation together and the fight against terrorism. Presented by Reliance Entertainment and Motion Picture Capital in association with Sun Shine Pictures, the Vipul Amrutlal Shah Production released on November 29.
