Mudassar Aziz's Pati Patni Aur Woh is a remake of BR Chopra's 1978 hit of the same name. The film stars Kartik Aaryan, Bhumi Pednekar, Ananya Panday and Aparshakti Khurana. On day 1 at the box office, it collected Rs 9.10 crore, followed by Rs12.33 crore, Rs 14.51 crore and Rs 5.70 crore. On day 5 (Tuesday), the film minted Rs 5.35 crore, taking the total box office collections to Rs 46.99 crore.
Well, the film will hopefully surpass Rs 50 crore today. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted the numbers:

On the other hand, Oscar-nominated director Ashutosh Gowariker's latest release Panipat, which minted Rs 4.12 crore on day 1 at the box office, has failed to impress the audience. The period drama stars Arjun Kapoor, Sanjay Dutt, Kriti Sanon and Zeenat Aman. The film is based on the third battle of Panipat that was fought between the Marathas and Ahmad Shah Abdali, the Afghan emperor, in 1761.
On day 5, the film minted Rs 2.21 crore, taking the total collections till now to Rs 22.48 crore.
