Salman Khan’s and Sonakshi Sinha’s Dabangg 3 has opened today to packed houses. The film saw a bumper opening and has got the cash registers ringing. Salman’s Chulbul Pandey and Sonakshi’s Rajjo are keeping the audience excited while newbie Saiee Manjrekar has deftly managed to support them in the film. The film is off to a flying start in the domestic circuit and was in the news right from its inception.
According to the latest box office reports, the film has a good start of around 30-35% but this also means that it has not been able to live up to the expectations. The report also suggested that Dabangg 3’s collections will be decent but will not be near challenging to non-holiday collections of films like Ranbir Kapoor's Sanju and Salman's 2017 film Tiger Zinda Hai.

However, the film is still touted to become the second-best non-holiday opening of the year after Prabhas’ and Shraddha Kapoor’s Saaho despite the unrest going on in the country. Due to the protests and violence in cities like Delhi, Bengaluru, Hyderabad and others the film saw a low occupancy. There were quite a few places in UP that boasted an occupancy rate of 70-80% while others had 5-10% only. The film is expected to grow in the days to come if things return to normalcy.
Dabangg 3 has released in four languages – Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Kannada – and in as many as 3,500 screens in all versions which gives it a huge leverage and will definitely become a blockbuster hit in the days to come.
