The box office has become the battlefield for Yash’s KGF: Chapter 2 and SS Rajamouli’s RRR with both the films doing raging business. KGF: Chapter 2 has become the third highest grossing film in Hindi with a collection of Rs 343 crores and has beaten RRR’s Hindi version. However, Shahid Kapoor’s Jersey has failed to impress the audience and its box office collection has declined further on Day 6 of its release.
Starring Yash, Sanjay Dutt, Srinidhi Shetty and Raveena Tandon, KGF: Chapter 2 is directed by Prashanth Neel and has garnered Rs 343.13 crores in week 2 of its release. It has crossed the lifetime business of Tiger Zinda Hai, PK and Sanju.

RRR has collected Rs 600.14 crores at the worldwide box office in 33 days of its release. Starring Ram Charan, Jr.NTR, Ajay Devgn, Alia Bhatt, Shriya Saran and others the film is a period drama that has seen the country gripped in its fever. It has maintained its hold on the cash registers as it still raking in the moolah.
On the other hand, Shahid and Mrunal Thakur starrer Jersey has failed to impress the audience. Although there were high expectations from the film, it could earn only Rs 1 crore on the sixth day of its release. Furthermore, its collection dropped by 57% and will now enter Rs 20 crore club soon. If things do not pick up for Jersey then it might be discontinued and its place be taken by Heropanti 2 or Runway 34, both are releasing on April 29.
