The verdict is out. Ayan Mukerji's ambitious project Brahmastra has released and the audience welcomed it with open arms and tons of love. Starring Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Mouni Roy, the film broke several records at the box office on Friday.
On Saturday, Brahmastra's box office collection escalated further. As per the official figure released by the makers of the film, it has crossed Rs. 100 crores globally in just two days. Brahmastra minted Rs. 85 crores on Saturday. The total collection now stands at Rs. 160 crores.
Thanking fans for showering love on Brahmastra, Ayan wrote, "Thank you to all our audiences, for spreading Love and Light in Cinemas this weekend!"
Brahmastra collected Rs. 75 crores globally on Friday. Sharing the figure, Ayan wrote on Instagram, "BRAHMSTRA DAY 1. Gratitude. Excitement. Hope. A Big Thank You to Everyone Everywhere who has gone to the Cinemas to experience Brahmstra, keeping our movie-going culture, vibrant and dynamic. Looking forward to the next few days…"
Produced by Star Studios and Dharma Productions, the magnum opus is currently in theatres in 2D, 3D and Imax 3D in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada.
