Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor's Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar has set the cash counters ringing. The Luv Ranjan directorial has brought back the era of rom-coms after a long dry spell. The film released in theatres yesterday and it clearly managed to attract the audience.
Taking off to a positive start at the box office, Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar earned Rs.15.73 crores net on the first day. In addition to this, several multiplex chains have included late-night shows of the film due to a rise in demand among movie buffs.
Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar is directed by Luv Ranjan, produced by Luv Films’ Luv Ranjan and Ankur Garg, and presented by T- Series’ Gulshan Kumar and Bhushan Kumar. The film also stars Dimple Kapadia, Anubhav Singh Bassi, Boney Kapoor and ensemble.
