Ajay Devgn and Tabu's Bholaa released in theatres yesterday on the occasion of Ram Navami. With positive reviews, the film took a flying start at the box office. The action-thriller which is the official Hindi remake of the Tamil film Kaithi is directed by Ajay.
Due to positive reviews and good buzz around the film, Bholaa opened its account at the box office with Rs. 11.20 crores on its release day. It got benefited further because of the public holiday on the occasion of Ram Navami.
Bholaa is about a jail convict who is released after 10 years. His primary goal now is to reunite with his 10-year-old daughter who is at an orphanage. Amid this, he meets Police Officer Diana Joseph (Tabu), who is in desperate need of his help to catch drug mafia don Ashu aka Ashwathama (Deepak Dobriyal).
Apart from Ajay, Tabu and Deepak, Bholaa also stars Sanjay Mishra, Vineet Kumar and Gajraj Rao. The film is produced by Ajay Devgn Ffilms, Tseries Films, Reliance Entertainment and Dream Warrior Pictures.
