The horror comedy Munjya is set in the backdrop of Maharastra’s serene Konkan village. Sharvari and Abhey Verma’s film is performing exceptionally at the box office. In the first week of its theatrical run, the movie garnered numerous audiences. Aditya Sarpotdar's directorial has registered Rs 36.50 crore in the first seven days. After an unprecedented opening, Munjya excelled in the box office graph and following 1st weekend the film maintained a steady pace. It also denies slowing down and continues to attract people for its engaging story. 

Munjya made an opening of Rs 4.21 crore on its release day and further became a hit. The film manages to keep the record of day 1 even on the 7th successful day by collecting a similar amount. Munjya box office collection day 7 registers Rs 4.03 crore rewriting history. Talking everyday collection so far, the film hiked its collection on day 2 by earning Rs 7.40 crore and minted Rs 8.43 crore on day 3 doubling up the 1st-day record. It then made Rs 4.11 crore on day 4 and day 6 while it earned Rs 4.21 crore on day 5.

With a total of 7 days collection Dinesh Vijan produced film has made a business of Rs 36.50 crore. The horror comedy flick of Maddock Films Universe has been a blockbuster hit crossing the Rs 30 crore mark in seven days. The film is highly celebrated among the audience for its story and loving the VFX-created CGI character. The movie is highly engaging and interesting keeping you hooked throughout with appropriate horror and comic timings. Once again, Prime Focus Group has transported audiences to a new realm through their expertise in VFX with Munjya. Crafting the eerie and playful protagonist entirely from scratch using state-of-the-art computer-generated imagery (CGI) for Munjya took over a year.

Munjya is a part of Maddock Films horror universe including Stree and Bhediya. The film stars Sharvari, Abhay Verma, and Mona Singh in the lead roles.
