Munjya enters Rs 100 crore box office club; horror comedy flick rewrites history

The horror comedy film Munjya is performing phenomenally at the box office. Aditya Sarpotdar's directorial has received tremendous love and positive word of mouth from the audience leading to creating history. The film denies to stop at the box office keeping the cash registers ringing. Maddock Films another installment of the horror comedy universe witnessed a blockbuster third weekend crossing the Rs 100 crore mark. Abhay Verma and Sharvari Wagh starrer cemented its place as the first sleeper hit to achieve this milestone. 

Munjya based on Konkan folklore is being celebrated among the audience as it continues to create havoc at the ticket window. Week after week the film manages to shatter records and the new one is an entry in the 100 crore club. The low-budget film with its unique storyline, cinematography, and brilliant VFX has impressively made a total business of Rs 103 crore so far. The film experienced a solid weekend registering high value at the box office. After a slow week, the film made a hike in Saturday, 16th day collection earning Rs 5.80 crore. The movie saw a growth on Sunday, day 17 with a collection of Rs 7.20 crore. 

Munjya is scaring, winning, and entertaining everyone. Amar Kaushik produced flick gross India collection is Rs 103 crore while its India box office net is Rs 87.31 crore. Week after week Munjya shatters records with its collection of Rs 36.50 crore and 34.50 crore respectively in week 1 and week 2. The horror comedy flick is running successfully in theaters as it records the biggest third weekend of the year. The credit for the success of Munjya should be enjoyed by Maddock Films which is known for its unique ideation and Prime Focus Group which has once again taken the audience to a different world with mastery of VFX.
