Kill box office collection day 7: Bangs with ₹11.36 Crore in first week, sets new benchmark for Bollywood action films

Kill, the action thriller directed by Nikhil Nagesh Bhat, has been on a remarkable run at the box office since its release on July 5th. Starring Lakshya, Raghav Juyal, and Tanya Maniktala, the film has captivated audiences with its intense action sequences and is proving to be a standout in Indian cinema.

Produced by Karan Johar and Guneet Monga under Dharma Productions and Sikhya Entertainment, Kill has quickly gained traction, hitting the 10 crore mark within its first week. The film opened with a strong 1.35 crore, bolstered by positive reviews from critics and delegates at the Toronto International Film Festival, where it premiered.

Word of mouth has played a significant role in the film's growth, helping it earn 2.20 crore on its second day (Saturday) and 2.70 crore on its third day (Sunday). Maintaining its momentum, Kill passed the Monday test with a collection of 1.30 crore, closely matching its opening day earnings.

The film continued to perform well on weekdays, reporting 1.35 crore on Tuesday (day 5) and 1.24 crore on Wednesday (day 6). As of its latest update, Kill has reported an additional 1.22 crore, taking its total to an impressive 11.36 crore.

Kill is being praised for its severe and raw action sequences, shot in a confined setting, making it one of the most violent films in Bollywood. It is also notable as the first genre film of its kind made in India, paving the way for a new age of action cinema.

The film remains a solid performer in cinemas, leveraging its terrific word of mouth and holding strong on weekdays. Kill is proving to be a killer hit, setting new benchmarks for action thrillers in Indian cinema.
