Despite a low collection, the film received massive love and attention when streamed on Netflix. The romance drama showcasing a village story struck a chord with the audience. Laapataa Ladies is headlined by new faces Nitanshi Goel, Pratibha Ranta and Sparsh Shrivastava. Directed by Kiran Rao, the movie is jointly produced by Aamir Khan and Jyoti Deshpande under Aamir Khan Productions and Jio Studios.
