The film has recorded a staggering collection within 2 days of its release and going sold out across the nation. Maddock Films fifth installment of the supernatural horror universe broke box office records crossing the 100 crore mark in 2 days of the release. 

Amar Kaushik's directorial holds an unstoppable force at the box office earning Rs 118 crore globally. On the other hand, India box office net collection is Rs 100.1 crore. Stree 2 made a sensation opening with Rs 76.5 crore on day 1 while on the second day, it earned Rs 23.6 crore as net box office collection. With such massive numbers, the film crossed the Rs 100 crore mark creating a history in Indian cinema. The film also received a positive response with a preview screening on Wednesday night.
