‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’ Day 1 Collection : Breaks records on opening day, Beats 'RRR' with ₹175.1 Crore box office collection

Allu Arjun's film 'Pushpa: The Rise' sequel 'Pushpa 2: The Rule' hit the theatres on 5 December. Directed by Sukomal, the film also stars Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil in their respective roles. At the same time, the film's tremendous earnings on the first day prove why Pushpa is 'fire'. The film has created a new record at the box office on the very first day, beating SS Rajamouli's Oscar-winning film 'RRR'.

'Pushpa 2: The Rule' has been released on 12 thousand screens. However, the plan for the 3D version was canceled due to delays in post-production, but the film was released in 2D and 4DX formats. The film has been released in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi languages, and its budget is said to be around Rs 500 crore. The record-breaking earnings of the film make it clear that 'Pushpa 2: The Rule' is going to give a big gift to the South Cinema Industry at the end of this year.

'Pushpa 2: The Rule' earned Rs 10.1 crore from special screenings, and the total earnings on the first day reached the figure of Rs 165 crore. In this way, the total earnings of the film became Rs 175.1 crore. If we talk about the share of earnings, it has earned Rs 95.1 crore in Telugu, Rs 67 crore in Hindi, Rs 7 crore in Tamil, Rs 1 crore in Kannada and Rs 5 crore in Malayalam. 'Pushpa 2: The Rule' defeated 'RRR' by a huge margin on the first day. Ram Charan and Jr NTR's film 'RRR' earned Rs 133 crore on the first day. At the same time, the occupancy of 'Pushpa 2: The Rule' in Telugu was 82.66 percent. The film's figures are expected to increase further during the weekend.

Directed by Sukumar and produced by Mythri Movie Makers and Muttamsetty Media, the film reunites Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil in the lead roles. Allu Arjun has also received the National Film Award for his excellent performance in the first part.
