Virushka to appear as Man & Wife before Indian media at 8 pm

It’s confirmed! Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli are now a couple. Bollywood’s gorgeous actress and cricket’s stylish batsman are now officially man and wife. After a three-year courtship that made news headlines and society gossip. Not to mention intense speculation over the last two weeks over whether they would tie the knot or not this month. But now it’s happened. And the world is celebrating, Bollywood is delirious, Team India has risen from the depths it plunged to yesterday after the pasting it took from Sri Lanka at Dharamshala in the first ODI of the series.

Anushka and Virat tied the knot in a private ceremony at Milan at 11.30 am Italian time. They are appearing before the Indian media for the first time as man and wife at 8 pm IST to officially make an announcement. The ceremony was conducted according to Hindu wedding rites. Five Hindu priests from Haridwar performed the ceremony at the Borgo Finocchieto resort, 30 minutes south of Siena, which is reportedly a dream wedding destination. A heritage property that got its first experience of the big, fat, noisy Punjabi wedding that Virushka had planned!
