Neha Kakkar makes a shocking revelation about Bollywood, says 'singers don't get paid for their work'

Neha Kakkar, in the last few years, has given Bollywood some peppy and foot-tapping songs that went on to become instant blockbusters. With numbers like Sunny Sunny (Yaariyan), Kala Chashmah (Baar Baar Dekho), Aankh Maarey (Simmba) and the recent Garmi (Street Dancer 3D), the singer is currently ruling the charts. Neha, who is in top form with concerts and films lined up, made a rather shocking revelation about Bollywood. The 31-year-old, during an interview, told that singers don't get paid for songs in films assuming that they will earn their dues from concerts post delivering a super hit number. She further added that she gets a good amount of revenue from her live-in concerts but in Bollywood, that's not the case.

"We don't get paid for singing in Bollywood at all. What happens is they feel that if we give a superhit song, the singer will earn through shows. I get a good amount from live concerts and everything, but Bollywood doesn't have this scene. To make us sing a song, they don't pay," Neha told.
