She will star alongside Kangana Ranaut in the upcoming movie Manikarnika. Pavitra Rishta 's Archana aka Ankita will play the role of Jhalkaar Bai who was close to The Queen Of Jhansi. The movie meanwhile has got a nod for a release on April 27th, 2018. This will be Ankita's first major step into the 70mm world. Reportedly, Ankita is undergoing horse riding and sword fighting lessons for the film.
