Late television actor Pratyusha Banerjee’s boyfriend Rahul Raj Singh, who was accused of abetting her suicide, has been given a clean chit by the Bombay High court. There were charges of cheating and fraudulence filed by an aspiring actor Heer Patel against him, according to the report in a leading daily.
And now Rahul has plans to go legal and take action against all those who allegedly had conspired against him after Pratyusha's sad and shocking demise.
“All of them including Kamya Punjabi and Vikas Gupta, who is a Bigg Boss contestant, met regularly at Heer's house after I refused to give in to her advances. She even took Pratyusha's parents to her home when they came to Mumbai after their daughter's death so that they could join in the campaign to prove me guilty. But now, the honourable High Court has relieved me from the matter, which was pending since the last one year," Rahul quoted.
Also, shedding light on his equation with Heer Patel, who had accused him of duping her lakhs of rupees after he made a fake promise to launch her as an actor, Rahul told that she was an aspiring actor, who wanted him to launch her. She was infatuated with him. When he refused to give in to her designs she turned vengeful. She is a divorcee with a child and was trying to marry him under many false pretexts. When he discovered her lies, she turned against him. Pratyusha's parents filed the case after they were instigated by her as they were staying at her house.
Rahul also asserted that the contestant of Bigg Boss season 11, Vikas Gupta had filed a sexual harassment charge against him and he will now drag Gupta to the court as well.
The mystery around Pratyusha’s death goes back to April 1, 2016, when she was found hanging from the ceiling fan in her house. No suicide, note however, was found to indicate the why the actor took this extreme step of taking her life.
