Comedian Bharti Singh and writer Haarsh Limbachiyaa first met on the sets of Comedy Circus and from there began the unlikely romance of a thick-skinned, bold, Punjabi girl and a timid, shy gujju. The first episode of the web series starts off with Haarsh and Bharti speaking with the camera about how the two met and their candid and relaxed demeanor is the best part about the documentary. The two describe their friendship, which steadily blossomed into a romantic equation and manage to engross the viewer with their innocent and honest confessions about each other. The episode also has a lot of jump cuts in between where Bharti and Haarsh’s banter gets interrupted by their friends and television celebrities like Krishna and Sudesh, Ravi Kishan, Rithvik Dhanjani, and plenty of others.

While these comments from various other artists some times added humour to the episode, most of the time they seemed unnecessary and perhaps the viewers may have enjoyed it more if it was just Bharti and Harsh throughout. They speak in depth about the hiccups they faced along the way and how Bharti pushed Haarsh to become the writer he is today. Their romance seemed to be atypical with most of their conversation being surrounded by food, alcohol, and pulling each other’s leg. We can’t say we’re surprised.

If you’ve seen Bharti onscreen, you probably know why. The couple is cute to say the least and oozes of natural charm and genuine warmth.
