KeRo gets hitched: Rochelle and Keith have a blissful beach wedding

“Found my Prince Charming!” gushed new bride, Rochelle Maria Rao. She walked down the aisle on a beach with groom Keith Sequeira…and later broke into a happy dash on the sands with her husband. The couple made for a gorgeous sight in their classic yet relaxed wedding finery – Rochelle’s white lace wedding gown was a treat to the eyes, while Keith rocked a sky blue suit. One of the fresh peach-hued flowers of her bouquet also decorated his buttonhole, as they made a magical picture together.

VJ, model and actor Keith, and model and anchor, Rochelle Maria Rao had got engaged last February. At that time Keith had shared, “We are happy where we are. We want to enjoy this phase. We had started dating just a few months before entering ‘Bigg Boss’ and by the end of it, we realised that this is what we want for the future and we are in for a long haul. So, marriage can wait. We have too much work right now that I don’t see marriage happening this year. There’s still some time.”

When D-day arrived, they chose to keep it low-key and beautiful. Their wedding was an intimate affair in Mahabalipuram, Tamil Nadu. An elegant beach wedding at a quiet resort, with only their nearest and dearest in attendance, is how the couple chose to wed. Their classic white wedding exuded romance and taste, right from the décor to the music.

Apparently, all credit for the planning must go to the bride and her sister, Paloma who lives in Chennai. Ex-Miss India Rochelle had always dreamt of a beach wedding and after several visits to her hometown, Chennai, she and Keith decided on the quiet and beautiful beach town of Mahabalipuram as the venue.

Keith and Rochelle had been in a relationship for more than three years and surprised everyone by officially announcing it when they entered the ‘Bigg Boss’ house together in Season 9. Keith had also claimed that the show had helped them strengthen their bond. “’Big Boss’ was the one place where we got to know the other side of each other, since we were forced to be living together for a long time, under extreme pressure.”
