Lara Dutta wants her 6yo, Saira to be her dancing partner

Former Miss Universe and Bollywood actress Lara Dutta is all set to debut on the small screen with a new dancing reality show titled ‘High Fever – Dance Ka Naya Tevar’ where she will mentor and judge the participants.

Speaking about the same, in a recent media interaction, the actress said, “In the past few years, I was offered a lot of TV shows however nothing excited me. But when this show came to me, I found the concept unique. It talks about different relationship and its transformation on the stage. I have shot few episodes and the overall experience was awesome. Lots of stories from different contestants have amazed me. I am really looking forward to seeing audience’s reaction to it.”

The show will revolve around a pair of two who will showcase their dancing skill as a team with their relatives, siblings or partners. When asked who the actress would want to be partnered with if she danced, Lara quickly jumped and replied, “My daughter Saira.”

“I would love to dance with my daughter; she is outstanding. She has done quite of few workshops in dancing and she is quite amazing. I think those are the kind of dance partners one should have in life,” the actress concluded.

Choreographer-turned-director, Ahmed Khan will also judge the reality show alongside Lara. Ahmed said that his role in the show will be looking after the technicalities of dancing and providing the contestants with the best of tips. “Dance is a passion for me and I look forward to meeting like-minded individuals on the show. What really hooked me on to High Fever... Dance Ka Naya Tevar was that it’s not just another dance show. I will be judging the contestants on synced dance moves that create a truly spectacular visual. I expect to come across interesting jodis that make for flawless dance partners," he told a leading daily.

Professional dancer and choreographer from Brooklyn, Dana Alexa will also judge the show.

Lara was last seen in Welcome to New York which starred Diljit Dosanjh, Sonakshi Sinha and Karan Johar. The actress apart from judging the reality show has also announced to launch her own skincare brand 'ARIAS' which is scheduled to hit the stores later this year.
