Colors TV’s Tu Aashiqui follows the musical romance between Pankti played by Jannat Zubair and Ahaan played by Ritvik Arora. While Ritvik made his acting debut with this show, Jannat has been working in the glamour industry for almost 8 years since childhood. And now, after the controversial kissing scene in Tu Aashiqui, according to recent developments, the makers of the show want some more intimate scenes between the Jannat and Ritvik. Outraged at the demands, Jannat's father recently spoke up on the issue and is totally against his daughter indulging in any such scenes. Since Jannat who is still a minor can't enact any intimate scenes, the makers have already started the hunt to look for a replacement.

Jannat's father recently spoke to a leading media house about the same and said, “Jannat is shooting today. We had a meeting scheduled with the production team but they have started auditioning before that. Let them conduct auditions.”

He also said, “All I can say is Jannat is a good performer. When we had signed the show, we had decided what we wanted Jannat to do and what we didn’t. We want her to establish herself as a good actor because of her talent and not by making her perform kissing and adult scenes. We had signed an agreement with the makers regarding the same which they breached but we still co-operated but now demands are going overboard. Jannat’s fan following includes kids and teenagers and we don’t want to send out a wrong message to people.”

“I won’t give my daughter permission to enact adult or kissing scenes at this age. She is a minor, just 16-years-old. Once, she grows old then she can decide for herself. This show [Tu Aashiqui] is seen by the family and amidst this, if the makers want to make an adult film, it is not possible for us to adapt to it. Even the Government doesn’t allow marriage before 18 and to make her perform such scenes at this age is just not acceptable," he further.

This isn't the first time an uproar was caused due to intimate scenes. Earlier when Jannat performed a kissing scene with Ritvik, it didn't sit well with Jannat's mother. A source revealed to a portal, “A kissing scene between Pankti and Ahaan was being planned. It didn’t go down well with Pankti’s mother. And she was totally against it. In fact, later the discussion turned into an argument when the producers refused to see her point of view.”

Nowadays locking lips has become a common phenomenon on television as well. Though we can’t complain about Jannat’s mother’s reaction as she is only 16, and if the reports are to be believed then Jannat’s mother has a ‘no-kissing’ pact for her daughter already.
