In March 2017, famous comedian Kapil Sharma suddenly announced his wedding with his long-time girlfriend Ginni Chatrath through a tweet, stating, “Will not say she is my better half... She completes me... Love u, Ginni... Please welcome her... I love her so much :).” And it was just one tweet that created all the buzz among his fans – assuming that Kapil will be gets hitched very soon.

Surprisingly, it’s been almost a year now and there is no update on Kapil’s love life. Some suggested that Kapil revealing the news of his relationship was an attempt to take the edge off his fight with Sunil. While others say that it was Preeti Simoes (ex-creative director of K9 Production) who leaked out the news of Kapil-Sunil fight to the media.

Any guesses on why Preeti, who was once in an alleged relationship with Kapil Sharma will do anything against him? Though they never spoke about their relationship in public; but it has been known to one and all. Well, if our sources are too believed, it was a triangular love story between Preeti – Kapil and Ginni.

“Kapil was already in a relationship with Ginni before falling for Preeti. It was the professional commitment which brought Kapil and Preeti close to each other. On the other hand, Kapil’s family members were very fond of Ginni and they wanted their son to get settled soon. However, the comedian kept delaying it,” a close source informs.

The source further added, “This went on for almost three years and it was then Kapil’s mother decided to shift her base in Mumbai. She was aware of Kapil and Preeti’s closeness which she was totally against it. While she was present there she made sure that Preeti stays away from Kapil. At that time, the differences between Kapil and Preeti increased. Initially, it was personally and then professionally. A few months later, Preeti decided to quit K9 Production and launched her own production house.”

However, the story doesn’t end here. In spite of the fallout, Kapil and Preeti were in regular touch with each other.

Another source informs, “During the bad phase in the career, all Kapil needed was an emotional support which he got it from Preeti. Though they had called quits in their relationship, they were in touch with each other through calls and messages. Preeti was emotionally attached with Kapil and so she did not want to leave him alone in his bad days.”

Apparently, Kapil Sharma was in a dilemma – whether to listen to his heart (Preeti Simoes) or to listen to his family members (Ginni Chatrath). And in between all this, he is all set to come back on TV with his news show, ‘Family Time with Kapil’.

Will this new show bring back his charisma? Guess we just have to wait and watch!
