Ace comedian Sunil Grover made his way into the news when his response to a fan garnered all the attention. Kapil Sharma has announced his new show Family Time with Kapil and fans were curious to know if Kapil and Sunil will be seen sharing the screen yet again. Answering this, Sunil replied to a tweet by his fan that stated he wouldn’t be seen in the show as he wasn’t approached for it in the first place.

But what caught our attention was the fact that he said he has signed something interesting and that had us waiting for the big news. And it seems like a good-news for all the Sunil Grover fans is on its way. Earlier today, a picture of him and Shilpa Shinde, the winner of Bigg Boss season 11 went viral. The picture has the duo sharing a good laugh whilst Sunil is busy reading something from his laptop screen.

According to reports, the duo will be seen together in a web-series and the show will be lead by Preeti and Neeti Simoes. Preeti and Sunil have previously collaborated on Kapil’s show where she was one of the producers from Kapil’s production house. Preeti also had been in the news for her relationship with Kapil Sharma.

According to a leading daily, a source said, “In a time when makers are scared to launch new shows during IPL, Preeti and Neeti have decided to dive straight into the ocean during the cricket season. They are working on a one-of-a-kind show for the digital world that will bring together cricket and comedy. Sunil and Shilpa will play commentators and discuss the on-going IPL matches. It would be along the lines of extra innings, only it would be much more fun and entertaining. Both Sunil and Shilpa have liked the idea and seem quite excited.”

Sunil and Shilpa are yet only on the reading stage and are yet to sign on the dotted line. It is reported that, if all goes well, the show will most likely stream on the digital platform of Hotstar.
