The popular television serial Ishqbaaz will be completing two years in June this year. Nakuul Mehta, Surbhi Chandna, Kunal Jaisingh, Shrenu Parikh, Leenesh Matoo and Mansi Srivastava starrer has been well liked by the TV audiences and on this joyous occasion, Nakuul decided to take a trip down memory lane. Two months before completing two years, the actor shared photos from the first day of filming the television serial.

Nakuul took to his Instagram account to share pictures from the first day of the shoot. He shared a picture with Kunal and Leenesh aka Obros and another one with co-star Surbhi Chandna aka Annika. He captioned the Obros picture as, “2 years to the first day of filming #Ishqbaaaz , today! Big love to the cast & crew. And maaad gratitude to all of you for embracing it the way only you could."

The picture with Obros is also their introduction shot in the show and sees the three main leads standing atop a yacht and looking at the horizon. The other picture that he shared of Surbhi was captioned as, “2 years to the first day of filming #Ishqbaaaz , today!” However, this picture never made it to the editing desk.

Ishqbaaz revolves around the love life of three brothers Shivaay Singh Oberoi (Nakuul), Omkara Singh Oberoi (Kunal) and Rudra Singh Oberoi (Leenesh) and their journey with their respective love interests in the show. Nakuul and Surbhis’ chemistry is another reason why the show is so popular. The two have won several awards for being the Best Jodi on TV. The actors share amazing camaraderie and are popular for the friendship that they share off-screen too. The serial achieved the milestone of clocking 500 episodes recently.
