Dipika Kakar bags Ekta Kapoor's supernatural show Qayamat Ki Raat post marriage

Sasural Simar Ka actress Dipika Kakar who tied the knot with actor Shoaib Ibrahim earlier in February this year is back with a bang on the small screen. She will be a part of Ekta Kapoor’s finite supernatural show Qayamat Ki Raat. The show will feature Karishma Tanna and Divyanka Tripathi's husband Vivek Dahiya in lead roles. Dipika is also all set to make her Bollywood debut in JP Dutta’s Paltan in which she will be romancing TV heartthrob Gurmeet Chaudhary.

A source close to the show said, “Earlier, Madhurima Tuli was finalised for the role, but due to her date issues, Dipika has been roped in.” The actress’ husband Shoaib joined Jeet Gayi Toh Piya Morey after replacing Krip Suri post marriage but Dipika was missing from the screen for some time, enjoying her long break. However, now she will be back with the supernatural show. However, the actress has not confirmed anything but it will surely be good news for her fans.

Qayamat Ki Raat will be a finite series with only 100 episodes and will air on Star Plus. It will bring the fresh pairing of Karishma and Vivek.

Dipika celebrated her first Roza/Iftari with husband Shoaib and her in-laws after marriage and heartwarming post was shared by Shoaib on his Instagram. Shoaib shared the family picture with the words, “Today's little moment becomes tomorrow’s precious moments". Dipika was seen seating next to her family and enjoying and breaking the fast with all of them. She had also shared heartwarming posts for her mother and mother-in-law on Mother’s Day thanking them for the love and support that they have shown her over the years.

Dipika has changed her name post marriage to Faiza Ibrahim and has converted to Islam. Dipika and Shoaib met on the sets of Sasural Simar Ka and dated for four years before tying the knot.
