Late actor Pratyusha Banerjee’s ex-boyfriend Rahul Raj Singh has been the prime accused in the Balika Vadhu actress’s suicide case. He has been in the news for the longest time for the case pending against him. He was booked under the abetment of the suicide case. Recently, he had filed a petition in the Mumbai Court requesting them to discharge the case. However, this time Rahul is in the news for a happy reason. He is all set to marry his ex-girlfriend Saloni Sharma and announced the same on his Instagram.

A few days back Rahul celebrated his birthday and gave a party as well. In his birthday post he mentioned Saloni as his “soon to be wife”. He wrote a lengthy post on his Instagram sharing a picture of birthday cakes and wrote, “It has been a long year for me...one which had many ups and downs..several highs and several lows....but like they say...what does not kill u...only makes you stronger...on my Birthday today...I would like to wish every single person who came,who wished me,who called and messaged,and even those who didn't!! Thanks so much!! And of course A Very Happy Birthday to Me!!! 1This is my year and I will come out with positivity and hopefully with a lot of success! Saloni was Rahul’s ex-girlfriend and former business partner. She and Rahul were in a relationship before he started dating Pratyusha. Saloni had actually blamed Pratyusha for creating troubles and coming in between the couple. Pratyusha had committed suicide in 2016 leaving everyone in the TV industry shocked. Her parents blamed Rahul for her suicide and even registered a case against him which is still pending. Pratyusha had gained fame by playing the role of Anandi in the popular television serial Balika Vadhu.
