Kapil Sharma uses Salman dialogue to tell Twitterati he is in their heart

“Chalo now good night… trying to change my lifestyle… God bless all… Love u” With that little dig at his personal struggles, Kapil Sharma wound up an hour-long Twitter interaction with fans. The comedian-actor has been battling a long bout of personal and professional trouble for more than a year. In fact, just a few months ago he had indulged in some serious ranting on Twitter, post which he had filed police complaints against a journalist, and his former showrunner and alleged girlfriend Preeti Simoes and her sister Neeti.

After going off the radar after that incident, the beleaguered actor reappeared last night to interact with his fans and give them a health update. Here are a few highlights… Kapil teed off the interaction sharing a link to the latest song of Dr. Zeus. The outpouring of love and concern from his fans writing in was touching. In reply, Kapil shared that while he has put on weight he is working hard to get back in shape.

When a fan asked him how he could hold on to him, Kapil used a popular Salman dialogue: “Dil me aa raha hu bahut hai... samajh ke kya karna...love u.” (The fact that I am in your heart is enough, there is no point of understanding anything beyond that).

In reply to one fan’s question about when he would change his Twitter DP, he declared that he was fat now, and he would change his display picture once he was back in shape.

In response to a fan’s tweet that he was missing the comedian and his show, Kapil replied that he would return with a brand new offering. “No problem... jaldi naye dekhne ko milenge,” he stated. Kapil also revealed that he was travelling at present but would return to the small screen soon.

Kapil’s troubles had exploded last March after his nasty run-in with fellow comedian Sunil Grover on a flight. This was followed by the star comedian repeatedly cancelling shoots for his ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’. The show was finally taken off air in July. After revealing his struggle with alcoholism and depression, he returned to TV with a new show, ‘Family Time With Kapil Sharma’. However, the show was cancelled after three episodes as Kapil’s troubles continued. Hopefully, he will get his act together and return stronger.
