Ekta Kapoor’s supernatural drama series Naagin returned to the small screen with its third season on June 2. Mouni Roy and Adaa Khan who spearheaded the first season moved out of the show which had gained immense popularity. With Anita Hassanandani, Karishma Tanna and Surbhi Jyoti roped in to play the lead roles in its third season, everyone was left wondering if the show will be able to match up to the popularity of the previous seasons.
But now it seems, the hard work of the Naagin 3 team has finally paid off. The show has not only emerged as the No. 1 show in its opening weekend with 10.8 million impressions but has even broken the records of the previous two seasons.

Meanwhile, from the episodes aired till now, it is clear that Karisma and Anita play the roles of ‘naagin’ in the show. But ever since the teaser was launched, the audience wondered if Surbhi will play a ‘naagin’ or a human character in the show. But looks like, the cat is finally out of the bag.
As per sources close to a leading daily, Surbhi will play the role of a ‘naagin’ but also portray Rajat Tokas' (naag) sister on the show. Her character will take human avatar in order to seek revenge from his brother's murderers.
Naagin 3 also feature Pearl V Puri, Rajat Tokas, Ankit Mohan, Rakshanda Khan and Chetan Hansraj. Marking a new tale set around the Shiva Temple, this franchise is sure to leave audience awestruck. Not just does the show comprise of a triple dose of the gorgeous Naagins, it also offers you a royal treat to the eyes leaving you swooning over its magnificent sets and look.
