Director Vinod Tiwari, who is making his debut with the film – Teri Bhabhi Hai Pagle is keen on making a biopic on ace comedian-actor Kapil Sharma. And guess what; he insists on showcasing only the positive side of the comedian in his film.

In an interview to PeepingMoon.com, Vinod Tiwari said, “Currently, a biopic is the new trend of Indian cinema and after watching Sanju, I have made up my mind to make a film on Kapil Sharma. I have been following him for the past 10 years. In my film, I want to showcase his journey from Amritsar to Mumbai; I am keen in showing his journey from rags to riches. Also, I don’t find any negativity in his life; he is a very simple man.”

Talking about his association with Kapil Sharma, “In 2009, I was offered a Punjabi film with Kapil Sharma; however due to some circumstances, the film got shelved. But now, I have made up my mind to make a film about him. I am keen in signing Kapil Sharma to play the lead; in fact, I have already conveyed my message to him. I am hoping for a positive revert. In case, if he doesn’t agree then Krushna Abhishek might step in since he too has a very good comic timing.”

Coming back to the film, Vinod Tiwari has already registered the film. “The script of the film is ready and has been registered with the title - The Kapil Sharma Real Hero. My team and I will start working on it post the release of Teri Bhabhi Hai Pagle. If everything falls into place, I will announce my hero by the end of this month (July 2018),” director concludes.

Talking about Mr. Sharma, Kapil made headlines earlier this year for all the wrong reasons after his abusive phone call to the editor of an entertainment portal and his Twitter spat. In spite of his team deleting the tweets and claiming that his accounts had been hacked, the comedian tweeted again saying it was his team trying to cover up and what he said previously is what he meant.
