After her successful stint on Hindi television, actress Sanjeeda Sheikh is venturing into Punjabi film industry. Her debut film in the language, titled Ashkey is on the roll and Sanjeeda seems quite excited about it.
While talking to the media recently, the actress revealed that she had to learn Punjabi for Ashkey. She gave away more details about the film and said, "Punjabis are always warm and welcoming and it was great fun picking a new dialect for the film. It has been a great shooting experience with Amrinder Gill and got to learn a lot in my debut along with a new language".

She had great fun during the shooting of the film in Chandigarh, where Sanjeeda even cooked for some team members, said a source from the production unit.
Ashkey, directed by Amberdeep Singh, also features Amrinder Gill, Hobby Dhaliwal, Jaswinder Bhalla and Gurshabad Singh.
