Indian television industry has been dominant with supernatural shows like Naagin, Laal Ishq and Qayamat Ki Raat. Now get ready to witness yet another supernatural show – Nazar. The show will be produced by Gul Khan, the maker of shows like Qubool Hai and Ishqbaaz.

Apparently, Gul is keen in casting a Bollywood actress for the first episode of the show which revolves around daayan.  And if few media reports are too believed, the Ek Thi Daayan actress Kalki Koechlin has been approached to do a cameo role in the show. In fact, they further stated that in this 5-minute cameo, Kalki will be seen as the Mahadaayan.

Unfortunately, there is no truth to these reports! If our sources are to be believed, Kalki has not been approached to do any kind of TV show. Currently, she is not in the country and will be back by the end of this month (July 2018).

Gul Khan too confirmed our news by saying that there is no truth on Kalki Koechlin joining the Nazar team. She called this news as a baseless rumour.

Former Bigg Boss contestant and Bhojpuri actress Monalisa and actor Ankur Nayyar who is known for his shows like Kasautii Zindagi Kay, Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, Siya Ke Ram, Meri Durga and many more have been roped to play the pivotal roles in Nazar.

Balika Vadhu fame Smita Bansal will also be seen featuring long side Monalisa and Ankur Goel in the show.

On the other hand, this will be Gul Khan’s first stint with the supernatural genre; who has till date produced serials like Geet, Arjun, Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naa Doon, Arjun, Tanhaiyaan, Dil Bole Oberoi and Kulfii Kumar Bajewala.
