Bigg Boss 11 contestant Hina Khan is all set to play the role of Komolika in the revamped version of the hit show Kasautii Zindagii Kay which starred Shweta Tiwari, Ronit Roy, and Cezzanne Khan. While an official announcement is yet to be made from Ekta Kapoor's Balaji Telefilms, our sources have confirmed that Hina has signed the dotted line.
Ever since the news of Hina playing the iconic antagonist is doing the rounds, there have been a lot of reactions to the development. But in a rather interesting news, Bigg Boss 11 winner Shilpa Shilpa now has something to say about Hina starring in the popular show. When a leading news website quizzed Shilpa about Hina's negative role, she said, "Wasn't she the Komolika of Bigg Boss 11 already?"
She further added, "Well, she is a good actress and playing a negative role shouldn't be difficult for her. So yes she will essay the role well. The comedy was difficult for her but otherwise, she is good."
Well, going by Shilpa's reaction, it is clear that the war between the two telly actresses is far from being over. This is not the first time that Shilpa and Hina have taken a dig at each other. Earlier too, the two got into a Twitter war when Hina and her beau Rocky Jaiswal slammed Shilpa for sharing a controversial video.
Meanwhile, Hina first gained popularity through her role as Akshara in the on-going show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. She dropped out of the show and went on to venture into non-fiction shows like Bigg Boss and Khatron Ke Khiladi. Now, with Kasautii reboot in the cards, she will return to fiction after two long years.
Recently, Ekta released a teaser clip of the show and it has met with a tremendous response. Now with Hina adding the much-needed drama, we can't wait to see what comes next!
