Ekta Kapoor’s Kasautii Zindagi Kay reboot is creating a lot of excitement among the audiences already. And now, here comes the good news for all the fans. The long wait is finally over. The show is all set to premiere on September 10, 2018, on Star Plus at 8 pm.
A few days back, when Ekta Kapoor released the first teaser of the sequel. Its hype amongst the fans and media portals was grand but surprisingly, many television stars seem equally excited as well. They even took to their social media to congratulate Ekta.

Shweta Tiwari and Ronit Roy, the lead stars of the original show, congratulated Ekta for her new show and wished her the best. “Wow! Congratulations and all the best for the new TV saga. Title song looks amazing,” Shweta commented on the video. “All the very best to everyone involved,” Ronit commented on the post and added, “Closest to my heart! I doubt anyone would be happier than me at the return. Please please give me one scene in the show.” The show’s lead vamp, Urvashi Dholakia also made heart emoticons on the post.
Ekta announced that she would reboot an old television series in February with an Instagram post. “With a piece of my broken heart I wrote in 2001 ...17 years later I 'reboot' it dipping in personal pain and lacing it with experiences of an older me! Bringing back my most successful love saga that ran for 9 years!!! Again I’ll take my broken heart n make it into art!!!,” she had captioned the post.

The new promo stars actor Erica Fernandez as the show’s lead Prerna while the male lead remains a mystery. Reportedly, Kaisi Yeh Yaariyan fame Parth Samthaan has been finalized to play Anurag Basu’s role in the reboot.
Other actors including Hina Khan, Sumona Chakravarti, Kali Prasad Mukherjee, Kanupriya Pandit and Pooja Banerjee have also been locked to play pivotal roles in the show.
