Earlier it was reported that actress Deepika Singh, popularly known Sandhya bahu from the serial Diya Aur Baati Hum was all set to make a comeback on television with writer-turned-producer Rajita Sharma’s new show Patiala Babes. However, now we have learnt that not Deepika Singh, but actress Paridhi Sharma who shot to fame with Ekta Kapoor’s Jodha Akbar has been finalised to play the lead role.
Apparently, Deepika had auditioned and bagged the role. But she wasn't keen on taking up the role. Her comeback on the small screen has been the talk of the town. She has been away since the birth of her son, Sohum. Buzz had it that the actress will mark her comeback with a mythological show titled Mere Sai. However, Sneha Wagh took over the role.
