‘Ishqbaaaz’ fame Omkara a.k.a Kunal Jaisingh confirms his marriage with Bharti Kumar in December 2018

Actor Kunal Jaisingh, popularly known as Omkara from the hit serial Ishqbaaaz is all set to tie the knot with his long-time girlfriend and TV actress, Bharti Kumar in December this year. The handsome hunk had never spoken publicly about being in a relationship. But any guesses on who spilled the beans? Well, it’s none other than Kunal’s close friend and co-star Nikitin Dheer.

It all started when, Kunal shared a picture with Nakuul Mehta on Instagram and captioned it as, "BROKEBACK at’chya MOUNTAIN I always knew you had my back @nakuulmehta #bromance #jealousmuch #oberoibrothers”. Commenting on the post, Nikitin Dheer wrote, "@kunaljaisingh ur getting married in Dec. Behave yourself .. @nakuulmehta ko bol ke fayda nahi hai".

And with this, Nikitin confirmed the news of Kunal and Bharti getting married in December 2018. When we contacted Kunal Jaisingh for his reaction, he confirmed his wedding news by saying, “Yes, I am getting married and honestly, it’s too early to comment on it. Once everything gets finalized, you will surely know about it.”

Kunal met Bharati on the sets of his debut show, The Buddy Project and the two fell in love after being friends for a long time. The two were in a relationship for almost 5 years, before taking it to the next level and exchanging the rings. They got engaged on the occasion of Gudi Padwa at IskconTemple, Mumbai on March 18, 2018.

Talking about his feelings for Bharati and his decision to marry her, Kunal said, “She is homely yet modern. She is like water and I feel she can adjust anywhere. Bharati makes the environment very friendly. She is a girl any guy would want as his wife, a girl that a family would look for their son and most importantly, she is the only one for me in this world. And she is mine.”

The two, despite being actors, kept their relationship under wraps from the world for five years, except for a few friends. Talking about keeping his relationship a secret for 5 long years, Kunal said, “I had my reasons, but it was definitely not because I am an actor and I feared losing out on projects. We wanted our parents to know it before announcing the news to the world. Finally, our families met a month ago and finalized everything.” After talking to their parents about their decision to marry, the two decided to tell it to the world.
