The moment is finally here, guys as the first promo of Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2, starring Erica Fernandes as Prerna and Parth Samthaan as Anurag Basu, has been released online while their characters have been introduced by – no surprises for guessing this – Shah Rukh Khan.

Producer Ekta Kapoor posted the promo online, in which SRK, handsome in a black suit, narrated the plight of the “karmically connected lovers”. Anurag’s and Prerna’s relationship is like that of the rail tracks – they travel together for miles but, unfortunately, do not meet. Such is their story, SRK said in the clip.

“Ek zameen hai toh duja aasman. Sadiyon se saath hain lekin phir bhi dooriyan barkaraar hain. Chaahat ke safar mein kitni kasautiyon se guzrega inka pyaar,” SRK added in the video as Erica and Parth made their first official appearance in the promo of Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2.

Sources had told PeepingMoon.com previously that SRK will narrate the first three episodes of Prerna’s and Anurag’s love story. This is as per the actor’s deal with the channel (Star Plus) for whom he is shooting the second season of Ted Talks India.

The 52-year-old actor had also featured in the first promotional video of Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2, in which he was seen discussing the plot of the show with Ekta. Our sources, in fact, also said that SRK charged a whopping amount of Rs 8 crore to shoot for the promo. He reportedly shot for 6-8 hours with Ekta and another 2-3 hours for shooting his portion as a narrator.
