Ekta Kapoor’s iconic show Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2 premiered yesterday and left many of its fans waiting for more. However, the Balaji head honcho did not just lay back to rest on her laurels but instead shared a spoof video on Twitter that made everyone’s day.

In the hilarious video, the show’s promo is aptly and funnily knitted to a popular scene from Shah Rukh Khan starrer Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. The Karan Johar directed film is popular and well-loved but is also well-known for being cheesy and over-the-top. However, the ace filmmaker loved the video too and gave it his thumbs up.

However, Shah Rukh who actually shot for a promotional video for the reboot version of the classic show is yet to respond to the video. Apparently, it was Shah Rukh who introduced Erica Fernandes as the female lead Prerna and Parth Samthaan as Anurag in the first promo that also featured Ekta.

Urvashi Dholakia who earned name and fame by playing Komolika in the show introduced Hina Khan who will step into her shows in the show. Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2 airs on Star Plus at 8 pm.
