In an unfortunate turn of events, television actress Neeru Agarwal, who plays the role of Neelu in Yeh Hai Mohabbatein has passed away today, October 2. She was suffering from fever for the last few days and collapsed in the bathroom early morning. Neeru died before she could be taken to the hospital.
Krishna Mukherjee, who plays the role of Aaliya in the show, confirmed the news to PeepingMoon.com and said, "She (Neeru) wasn't keeping well since really long and we suggested her to take rest. Till day before yesterday, she was shooting with us. She passed away after collapsing in the bathroom. We got to know about her death after the show's production team informed us once we arrived on the sets. We all prayed for her by lighting candles. Although the shoot of the show has been delayed but it would not be stopped."

She further revealed that Neeru's husband and family are Delhi-based and she used to live in Mumbai with her daughter and a flatmate. Her body has been kept in a hospital in Juhu as of now.
Meanwhile, her co-stars, Divyanka Tripathi Dahiya, Karan Patel and Aly Goni, mourned her death and shared emotional posts on Instagram.

Neeru played role of a maid in Raman's and Ishita’s house and had been a part of Yeh Hai Mohabbatein since the start. She is survived by her two sons and a daughter.
