Actress Divyanka Tripathi, popularly known as Ishita from serial Ye Hai Mohabattein is all set to make her debut on a digital platform by a web series titled Chef, which revolves around the life of two chefs. While Divyanka has already nodded for the show; we now hear that the maker of the show, Ekta Kapoor has finalized Rajeev Khandelwal as the male lead.
Chef is said to be a mature love story; an emotional tale with a tinge of comedy. Confirming the same, Ekta Kapoor in a tweet had said that “Ok since ppl got it! An official statement! A love story between two chefs! That shared pain betrayal a past and the love for FOOD!most love stories end in a kitchen this started in one @dorisdey209 @jaya_misra.”

Also, there were lots of reports suggesting that Divyanka Tripathi’s current show, Yeh Hai Mohabbatein will go off air in October 2018. However, there’s no truth to it. Apparently, the show will still go on to telecast at least till the end of this year which means that Divyanka will have to juggle her time between the two.
Meanwhile, afew months back (May 2018) Divyanka Tripathi had grabbed headlines when she appeared in Rajeev Khandelwal’s chat show – JuzzBaatt and opened up about her past relationship with Ssharad Malhotra. The actress was accompanied by her husband Vivek Dahiya.
Chef will be penned by popular author Jaya Misra and is expected to launch by the end of this year.
