It's a celebration time at Sakshi Tanwar's humble abode. PeepingMoon.com was the first to tell you that the television's favorite actress has adopted a baby girl. Now Sakshi herself has stepped out in the light to share her joy with the world, as she named her little one, Dityaa.
Sharing her happiness, the single mother said to a daily, "With the blessings of my parents and the support of my family and friends, I have adopted a baby girl, who will soon turn nine months old. I am delighted to share my happiness with everyone as I welcome this bundle of joy into my life. This is undoubtedly the greatest moment of my life. My family and I are elated to embrace Dityaa. She is the answer to all my prayers and I feel blessed to have her in my life."

Sakshi adopted this little munchkin during the auspicious days of Navratri. She considers her baby girl as Goddess Lakshmi's blessings. Hence, the name Dityaa, which is one of Lakshmi ji's names and means 'the one who answers prayers'.
When asked upon why she's single yet, the 45-year old actress said, “I haven’t found anyone I want to marry,”. The Kahani Ghar Ghar Ki star is also the ambassador for the Government of India’s Central Adoption Resource Authority(CARA) since the recent past. As a part of the campaign, she said, " The right way to go about it is to approach CARA".
